Bristol Road (Kensington) – Kitchen Remodel

This project involved transforming an old-school galley kitchen on Bristol Road in Kensington. The space was long and narrow, but we maximized its functionality and modernized its appearance.

Our team began by removing the built-in pantry and utilizing that space to install a double oven. We also cleared out the area to accommodate a full-size 36-inch refrigerator, preserving the original arching detail above it. The remodel featured Shaker cabinets, real stone countertops, and a subway tile backsplash, complemented by brass fixtures.

A standout feature of the remodel was the Great Gatsby light fixture in the sitting area. This fixture, adorned with several hundred long crystal reflective units, required reframing the ceiling to support its weight, which was approximately 800 pounds. The meticulous installation added a touch of elegance to the kitchen, enhancing its overall appeal.
